Name of Product/Version: Verizon Connect: Reveal (3.113 – 13 Dec 2019)

Product Description: Verizon Connect: Reveal is a fleet management and telematics platform that enables an organisation to plot and track the location of their vehicles on a map in near real time, and to manage such aspects of the fleet as driver safety, fuel economy, route history, vehicle maintenance and fuel card tracking.

Date: 19th Dec. 2019

Contact information: william.fitzgerald@verizonconnect.com

Notes: Verizon Connect: Reveal is a cloud-based Software as a Service (SAAS) product that can be used in the browser on a variety of devices. As a SAAS product, Reveal is continuously updated with frequent new releases to our production environment. This report reflects a snapshot of the product at the time of our initial accessibility audit. Updates to the product that affect Accessibility Conformance will be reflected here in the product version number, the effective date of this version of the report, and in this Notes section.

Evaluation Methods Used: The information contained within this Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) is a result of an audit performed by our internal UX Design team in December 2019. This assessment tested the compliance of the web-based Reveal platform.

This testing included extensive manual testing, enactment of the key product use cases through keyboard control and assistive technologies – specifically, the VoiceOver screen reader in Mac OSX and the Narrator screen reader in Windows 10 – for compliance with the WCAG 2.0 A and AA and Section 508 standards.

Verizon Connect Reveal has a set of core functions based around vehicle tracking and the map, and an extensive suite of ancillary tools and functionality. The following use cases were tested for this report.

  • Use of the map to track and read the status of a vehicle
  • Run and read a report
  • Add and edit a driver
  • Access route history through the Replay feature
  • Read an Alert, which communicate key events in the system to the user

Note that untested functionality may have unidentified accessibility issues.
