What is the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and how does it relate to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CPRA)?

The CPRA amends the CCPA to provide California residents with additional privacy rights and protections. The CPRA also expands the scope of the CCPA to include the personal information of employees and business contacts. What is the Verizon Business Privacy Dashboard?

The Verizon Connect Privacy Dashboard is an online portal where our business customers can exercise their privacy rights and submit requests to access, correct, or delete personal information for themselves. The dashboard also allows business customers to submit privacy requests on behalf of their employees or customers for personal information that Verizon may have collected about them. In certain circumstances, Verizon may not be able to process requests to delete or correct personal information if it is needed for business or operational purposes.

Who can use the Verizon Connect Privacy Dashboard?

Current, former, prospective, Public Sector and authorized agents can use this dashboard. Multiple accounts: If you maintain multiple business accounts with Verizon, you must submit seperate requests regarding personal information for each account. Though the CPRA only applies to California residents, Verizon will allow all US-based individuals to use the VCPD to exercise the rights identified in the CPRA. How will submitting a request impact me as a customer and is there a change?

Verizon does not discriminate against customers who exercise their rights and submitting a request is free. Your experience may be impacted based on what right you exercise. For example, you may receive less personalised content while visiting our websites if you request that certain personal information about you is deleted.

How do I submit a request?

There are three types of request you can submit: request to download, request to correct, and request to delete. Existing, prospective, former, Public Sector and authorised agents are all able to submit these types of requests.
